So You Want To Custom Order
Don't see quite what you're looking for? That's okay. The perfect piece of jewelry is different for everyone. Sometimes, what you see in your head and what you see on the webpage don't quite line up, and you'd like to see if you can make them.
Fear not! We might be able to make you exactly what you're looking for at the same reasonable pricing as our other products. Definitely contact us for more information.
Just a few things to keep in mind, though.
The majority of our regular merchandise is in pewter or bronze. If you want higher-end materials, that will be factored into the price. This includes the use of gems outside the normal ones we use as well.
Because the majority of our in-person sales are at SCA events and Renaissance faires, summer is our busy time, and custom orders are easier to fill in the off season. If you order in the summer, there will be a longer wait.
As with all other merchandise, natural variations occur. Remember, this is a hand-made product. It will look like it; that's part of the charm.
There are some things we can't do for whatever reason. If we know someone who can do it, we will suggest them. If you can get it from a mass-produced source, that's probably what you should do.
The more specific you can be, the better the chance that we can produce what you want. We want you to be happy; we like having repeat customers, and we like it when you tell your friends about us. That's been our business model for many years. But part of making you happy is knowing what you want.
We'd really like to have a picture with your custom order to post on the website. Maybe the Facebook page. But that's completely at your discretion.
All custom sales are final. We'll do everything in our power to see that you're satisfied, and we'll certainly cover custom work with the same guarantee as everything else, but sales will remain final.
Got all that? Great! Contact us, either here or through the Facebook page, and we'll start talking. The worst that can happen is that we can't make you what you want, and it never hurts to ask.
